As my wife and I welcomed our first child into the world last year, this weeks intention is inspired by the Disney movie Lilo & Stitch. "This is my family. I found it all on my own. It's little, and broken, but still good. Yeah. Still good." - Lilo & Stitch

Doesn’t it feel like that sometimes? For my wife and I there comes a time around 3 a.m. when we're waking up to change yet another diaper when I know it definitely does.

Let’s set the intention this week to spend more time with friends and family. The people who love and support us no matter what.  As a business owner, it often feels like the best thing I can do for my family is to work more so that I can provide more. But I think one of the biggest lessons we can learn with our finances is that our wealth is not measured only by the number of commas and zeros on our investment statements. Living a financially successful life is about more than the money you make. It’s about how you enrich the lives of those you love.

Have a great week everyone!
